Frequently Asked Questions

We’ve answered common questions for your convenience, please reach out if you haven’t found what you’re looking for.

Can I pay for music lessons one-at-a-time?

No.  Our tuition is semester-based, just like other higher-learning institutions. Contact us for details.

How does the enrollment process work?
We have Private Lessons and Afterschool students. Each type of service has a separate digital application.

If you've already spoken with our team about "Private Lessons" and you're ready to enroll click this Enrollment Application Link and enter your password when prompted, click here.

If you've already spoken with our team about "Music & Arts After School" and you're ready to enroll click this Enrollment Application link and enter your password when prompted, click here.

How are music lessons scheduled?

All music lessons are scheduled for one 30-minute* (ages 4 to 17 are 30 minutes, 18 and up have a choice of 30 or 45 minute sessions) session each week. We're open Monday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 7 PM. We're closed on all major holidays and during the respective breaks of Iredell-Statesville Schools and Mooresville Graded School District.

What if I miss a lesson?

Of course, life happens. Please notify our office at least 24 hours before missing any scheduled lesson. We'll honor three make-ups per semester when you call in as required. We will not honor no-show, no-call absences.

Does Studying Music Really Make Kids Smarter?

Yes.  One of the most compelling benefits is music-induced neuroplasticity, a phenomenon that describes the brain's ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections throughout life. Engaging in musical activities such as playing the piano can significantly enhance cognitive functions and overall brain health.

Do you offer other services?

Yes.  In addition to online piano lessons, in-studio piano lessons, group piano lessons, guitar, bass guitar, violin, and vocal coaching, we also have a Music & Arts Afterschool serving Mooresville Graded School District and Iredell and Statesville Schools.

Will the students have opportunities to showcase their talents?

Yes. In addition to a rectial after each semester, we plan to allow students to play in the community.
